1. KOSOVO - As Nato peacekeeeping forces continue entering into Kosovo many Serbs are joining the troops as they leave for Serbia. They say they do not trust Nato and fear reprisals from Albanians. Albanians are celebrating.
2. KOSOVO - Nato is reassuring that it will guarantee everyone's safety in Kosovo. The UN is worried that many Albanian refugees are already returning despite the region not being secure.
3. KOSOVO - The stand-off over Russia's role in the peace-keeping force continues, with Russia insisting on an area of control, Nato says it all must be under Nato.
4. WATSON TRIAL - The father of teenager Olivia Hope has told the court that reporting his daughter missing to police was the most difficult thing he had ever done. The trial of Scott Watson charged with the murder of Olivia Hope and Ben Smart is continuing in Wellington today.
5. CRIME - Residents in some of Wellington's outer suburbs fear efforts to crack down on inner city crime are coming at the expense of community constables.
6. HFA CEO - The Health Funding Authority is having difficulties in finding a new CEO and has made an interim appointment.
7. TOURISM - The Office of Tourism and Sport is to be subjected to tighter controls. The body was set up by the former Minister, Murray McCully and has been reviewed by the new Minister, Lockwood Smith.
8. VETERANS ANGRY - War Veterans exposed to nuclear tests in the Pacific have reacted angrily to the Government decision not to fund a legal battle. Don McKinnon has spoken on the subject at an RSA conference and did not receive a warm response.
9. MILITARY FUNERAL - The funeral of a former chief of general staff is about to begin in Wellington
10. ESCAPEE - Police say a convicted murderer recaptured after six years on the run after a prison escape will be back in court soon.
11. SOUTH AFRICA - The man groomed to replace Nelson Mandela has become the second democratically elected president of South Africa unopposed
