1/ Russians in spectacular fashion role armored column through Belgrade en route to Kosovo to play a role in peace keeping force. Nato planners caught by surprise. Russians say they will not cross into Kosovo until agreement is reached by Nato.
2/ Reports that British elite troops were on alert to fly into Pristhina should Russian troops cross the Kosovo border.
3/ Timing of operation not known but Nato troops expected to enter Kosovo today.
4/ Coast guard says charter boat grounding in Hauraki river due to lost boat captain. No one hurt in stag party crash.
5/ Protestors accused of acting illegally in reconnecting disconnected houses in Auckland say Metrowater. 35 households have been disconnected for not paying water charges. Water pressure group says it is not acting illegally and is planning to connect a house in Albany. Metrowater says it will go to High Court to make sure of the law.
6/ DOC says 100 Kaimanawa horses mustered over last five days. Applications exist for homes for all horses.
7/ General Thornton, 82, dies.
8/ CRICKET Pakistan beats Zimbabwe by 148 runs meaning India will now miss out on a final four slot. A NZ win tonight against India could clinch a position for New Zealand.
9/ RUGBY: Christian Cullen scores two tries as All Blacks beat NZ A 22 -11
