Holiday Weather – US Sorry
- HOLIDAY WEATHER: The North Island is bracing for a clash of two weather fronts. The result will be heavy rains and
winds as far south as Wellington. Tropical cyclone Sose has lost much of it’s punch but still brought foul weather. The
storm hit Northland early today and has spread to Auckland. Heavy rain has made rush hour nightmarish. The worst of the
rain is expected to strike Auckland later tonight. Floods threaten Northland town Kaiu. Aucklander’s favourite holiday
destination Coromandel is expected to cop some heavy rain and could see some flooding. Huge swells in Queensland were
caused by Sose, a delight for hardcore surfers, but a huge weave almost caused disaster as it unexpected crashed up the
beach almost sweeping people away.

apology. Secretary of State Colin Powell says it was not an apology. The plane is still wHere it landed. Colin Powell
said “this is not over.” NZ PM Helen Clark will be pleased at the apology, the issue willnow be off agenda when she
