- MEAT PRICES A significant increase in demand in imported beef and lamb in Europe is likely to push meet prices in New Zealand supermarkets to all time highs, after foot and mouth has been either suspected or found in every part of Europe.
- SUMMERTIMES More than 100,000 people turned out to Classical Sparks in the Park on Saturday night in Hagley park.
- LOST DOG Doobie, the dog lost by rescued owner Hamish Stothers has been found and returned to his owner. Stothers was lost in Abel Tasman Park and found last Saturday.
