Taiwan Crash – New Ferry – ACC Debacle
- TAIWAN CRASH: Wellington woman Tonia Joy, one of two New Zealanders to survive the crash of a Singapore Airways jumbo jet in Taiwan yesterday, described it as “like a big bomb.”
- NEW FERRY: Following the withdrawal of the TopCat fast ferry from Cook Strait crossings, Tranz Rail moved to bring in a bigger fast ferry for its Lynx service and axe the freight ferry Arahanga from next month.
