FIJI COUP: The Fiji Military says yesterday’s gun fight will not deter it from seeking a peaceful solution to the hostage crisis. In the wake of yesterday’s events all schools have been closed indefinitely.
GRANT GILLON: Alliance MP Grant Gillon is rejecting calls to resign or apologise again over comments concerning opposition MPs and bestiality.
PRISONER’S DEATH: The Wellington Coroner has criticised court staff and prison officers for the manner in which they dealt with prisoner Andrew Patterson who died of a heart attack.
MISSING TRIO: The police say they have found the car of three 18-year-olds who went missing in Southland at the weekend.
