FIJI COUP: The Interim Military Government of Fiji has appointed a son-in-law of Ratu Mara – the husband of one the
hostages – as an interim PM. The army says it has now met every demand made by the gunmen however the hostages have
still not been released.
FIJI COUP: The situation in Suva is beginning to turn to normal following the takeover by the army. However there are
mixed views on military rule.
