CROOKED CRICKET: One of world crickets most respected Cricket players Hansie Cronje has confessed to taking money for
throwing a match. However he says he did not deliver. He admitted taking the money from an English bookie of Indian
descent. Cronje confessed after talking to a priest. Two days ago the Cricket Board was defending Cronje against the
allegations. Fixing allegations have been rife since Pakistan started an inquiry. Shane Warne is also implicated for
giving pitch information to bookies. South African fans are shocked. Cronje's cricketing career is almost certainly
over.
BEE MITES: MAF officials have confirmed bees have been found with mites at three South Auckland locations. The industry
says it will be decimating. Live bee exports have already been cancelled. It takes two years for the mite to kill a hive
and the mite may have been here for two years. Orchardists are also worried. Questions are already being asked about how
the mite got here on live bees when we have no live bee imports. The Biosecurity Minister Marion Hobbs says it may be
sabotage. An inspector says it might have been on agricultural equipment or in a container or it might be sabotage.
KILLER BEES: Swarms of killer bees in the US are moving north. Several people have been killed in Texas. New swarms are
being reported daily.
CANCER INQUIRY: Public Health in the 1990s according to Dr Bob Boyd. "Cervical screening was not a viable part of
hospital business". After the coalition agreement in 1997 there were improvements. Before then it was a low priority.
The contracts tended to roll over rather than requiring accountability. Dr Bottrill has prepared a statement to read

DAVID IRVING: A right wing historian has been called a racist and anti-Jewish by a judge in a London libel case. He sued
an American Author for calling him a Nazi apologist. Irving maintained throughout the case that there were no death
chambers at Auschwitz. Over 1 million people were killed at Auschwitz say other historians. The American academic author
says she has been thoroughly vindicated.
ZIMBABWE: President Robert Mugabe has dissolved Parliament but is not stopping land occupations.
CLINTON IN DOCK: Special prosecutor Robert Ray says he is considering laying charges against US President Bill Clinton
over the Monica Lewinsky affair after he leaves the White House.
