Black Magic Wins Again - Wanganui Fatal Car Crash - Wanganui Bridge Fatality - Warriors Fiasco
Black Magic Wins - Russell Coutts celebrated his 38th birthday in style today with a decisive win over Prada in race four of the America's Cup. Prada, for the first time, got their bow in front but then made a bad tactical error by tacking in front of the black boat. Prada then sailed out to the left of the course well recognised in sailing circles as "No Man's Land." Sailing will recommence tomorrow with the America's Cup expected to be presented to New Zealand around 6pm tomorrow night.
Wanganui Crash - The driver of the car involved in a fatal accident in Wanganui was in court today and would plead to a charge of dangerous driving causing death but the judge would not accept the plea when police said that the more seious charge of manslaughter could be brought.
Wanganui Bridge Fatality - A 63 year-old man charged with not stopping after and accident appeared in court today and entered no plea. Two youths were killed earlier when a car allegedly hit them from behind knocking them over the bridge railings into the river.
Warriors Fiasco - Graham Lowe is further on the outer after saying that the "Warriors were to be run by a bunch of Maori's from the Waikato that have no knowledge of rugby league." Lowe has been told that if he wished to sell his shares there will be a ready buyer.
