1) Conclusive proof TNI planned reign of terror UN-led team digs up remains of 32 people in East Timor 07/02/00
(Associated Press) UNITED NATIONS - A U.N.-led team of forensic investigators has dug up the remains of 32 people,
including one with gunshot wounds, from a mass grave in East Timor, U.N. officials said Friday.
2) Wiranto responsible for Timor atrocities, say Gusmao, Ramos-Horta 07/02/00 (AFP) MANILA - Former Indonesian armed
forces chief General Wiranto was directly responsible for last year's destruction and violence in East Timor and
credible witnesses could testify against him, visiting East Timor independence leaders Xanana Gusmao and Jose
Ramos-Horta said here Saturday.

(UNTAET) was now operating throughout East Timor and mechanisms to consult with East Timorese at all levels have been
established, as have the basic elements of an administrative structure.
8) UNTAET Briefing forensic experts recover bodies 07/02/00 (UN) So far, the team of UNTAET CIVPOL and Interfet
investigators, lead by two UNTAET forensic experts recovered 26 bodies and 6 incomplete sets of human remains. Further
15 bodies were expected to be exhumed today from six different gravesites.
