WAITANGI: Waitangi's Marae Committee will meet next year to prepare for next year's Waitangi Celebrations.
PETER DOONE: The PM has refused to confirm confidence in the Commissioner of Police Peter Doone. She has confirmed that his continued employment will be on the agenda at the next Cabinet meeting on January 25.
HEALTH BRIEFING PAPERS: Papers on the health sector say better coordination is necessary and that the contracting process may divert resources away from health.
SAMOAN TRIAL: Cabinet Minister murder trial is now in its fourth day. Today's witnesses will include people who saw the shooter near where the victim was shot.
HOUSE OF LORDS: Britain's House of Lords will be reduced and made up from a mix of members a committee has recommended.
POLICE ATTACK: A Matamata Police Officer was attacked by a man with a screwdriver (possibly) this morning as he stopped a stolen car. The officer remains in hospital today.
