Wing Commander Edward Poot of Roseneath, Wellington during time out from duties takes some of the children of Magura (a village near Pristina airport), for a sled ride after having given them teddybears for Christmas knitted by the ladies from the save the Children New Zealand Group at Waikanae. WGCDR Poot has been the New Zealand Defence Force contribution to the 34 strong international team of UN Military Liaison Officers in Kosovo since July this year.
