Published: Fri 10 Dec 1999 12:08 AM
Three people including two young children have been found stabbed to death in a Northland House just west of Kaikohe this morning.
The children were a pre-schooler and a baby.
Two other adults were found in the house with serious injuries after an injured person managed to alert neighbours to the situation.
They are believed to be the mother of the dead children and the offender and have both been flown to Whangarai Hospital by rescue hospital.
The house is cordoned off and police are at the scene.
A family moved into the house on the Hokianga Harbour about one year ago.
