Man Charged With Offensive Behaviour

A 50-year-old man is due to appear in the Auckland District Court on Monday the 13th of September 1999 charged with Offensive Behaviour.
Detective Senior Sergeant Allan Boreham said the American man was arrested during a protest on Queen Street on Saturday the 11th of September, 1999.
No further details were available as the matter was before the court.
A number of protests have been held around the Auckland Central City area since APEC began however all had been peaceful, Detective Senior Sergeant Boreham said.
