USA President Bill Clinton Arrives In New Zealand

United States President bill Clinton has arrived at Auckland International Airport.
His motorcade is now heading into Auckland to the Stamford Plaza Hotel where the President will be in residence over the next three days.
President Clinton was welcomed to New Zealand by a 20 strong Te Waka Huia Maori haka group and the Prime Minister Jenny Shipley.
Auckland school children representing six different Pacific Islands groups also welcomed the President by performing a traditional welcoming ceremony called Te Ika a Moana Nui which translates to Fish of the Great Ocean.
President Clinton is accompanied on his New Zealand state visit by his daughter Chelsea and his mother in law Dorothy Rodham.
Other leaders due to arrive today include those from Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Canada, China, Thailand, Russia and Japan.
