The House Today: Liquor, SIS and Animal Products

Today's session of Parliament will begin at 2pm with Questions of the Day. The questions have been posted to the Parliament wire and Scoop will provide paraphrased answers shortly after question time concludes at 3pm.
This is expected to be followed by the third readings of the SIS Amendment Bill No. 2 and the Sale Of Liquor Amendment Bill. This is the final hurdle for both bills which will then be sent to the Governor General for his assent. Debate on the final stage of the liquor bill is expected to take around 2 hours.
If there is any time left the next item on the order paper is the committee stages of the Animal Products Bill.
Scoop will keep readers and subscribers informed of developments throughout the afternoon session. The house is scheduled tol rise at 6pm for the weekend.
