- New Zealand is back in the test series against England after winning the second test by nine wickets in only four
days. Matt Horne was awarded man of the match for his innings of 100. Chris Cairns took six wickets and night watchman
Daniel Vettori scored 50. The deciding fourth test is at Old Trafford and captain Stephen Fleming said his side is
feeling confident. Fleming praised his side for their patience with both the bat and ball.

Dead NZer Named
- The New Zealander who died in the Air Fiji plane crash has been identified as Chinese New Zealander Peter Choon Min
Yong. He was one of 17 people killed when the plane crashed in rugged terrain on the main island of Viti Levu. Peter
Choon Min Yong was a foreign aid worker for the Australian overseas development assistance programme, AusAid. Five
Australians also died in the crash including a mother and her child.
