House Rises

Parliament worked its way through the committee stage of a number of bills today.
After Question Time debated the committee stages of the Taxation (Annual Rates, Foreign Superannuation, and Remedial Matters) Bill.
The bill completed its committee stage and was reported with amendment on a voice vote.
The Student Loan Scheme Amendment Bill (No 3) completed its committee stage by 61 to 60 with National, ACT and United Future in favour and was reported without amendment.
The House rose just before 10pm interrupting the interrupted committee stage debate of the Trade (Safeguard Measures) Bill.
