The House In Committee

Published: Tue 18 Feb 2014 10:51 AM
The Government intends to work its way through the committee stage of a number of bills when Parliament resumes today.
After Question Time MPs are scheduled to debate the committee stages of the Taxation (Annual Rates, Foreign Superannuation, and Remedial Matters) Bill, Student Loan Scheme Amendment Bill (No 3) and Trade (Safeguard Measures) Bill.
Wednesday will be a Members’ Day though a local bill validating rates and a private bill will eat into the time available for MPs bills.
Parliament will also sit on Thursday morning to deal with second readings of three Treaty settlement bills.
