The third reading of the International Finance Agreements Amendment Bill was passed by 100 to 15 with the Greens and Mana opposed.
The bill ratifies changes to IMF rules, the Greens objected to part of the bill which will mean such future changes are just ratified by the Executive.
MPs did begin debate on the second reading of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (Covered Bonds) Amendment Bill, but this interrupted when the House rose at 6pm.
