The Government would seek to progress child support and patents legislation when the House sits next week.
Acting Leader of the House Chris Finlayson said the Government’s legislative priorities next week would be the:
Child Support Amendment Bill
Environment Canterbury (Temporary Commissioners and Improved Water Management) Amendment Bill
Patents Bill
Corrections Amendment Bill
An online petition signed by 1590 people calling for Parliament to support its request for an inquiry into injuries and outcomes for greyhounds was presented.
