A bill setting up a new research institute will be debated in Parliament for the first time today.
After Question Time the first reading of the Advanced Technology Institute Bill is on top of the Order Paper. The bill sets up a new Crown entity to support the manufacturing sector and services businesses through science and technology-based innovation.
This will be followed by the third reading of the Juries (Jury Service and Protection of Particulars of Jury List Information) Amendment Bill.
