Parliament Resumes With Growing Order Paper
After Question Time today the Government intends to complete the committee stage of two bills – the Customs and Excise (Joint Border Management Information Sharing and Other Matters) Amendment Bill and the Building Amendment Bill (No 3).
The week ahead will be dominated by Government legislation with the Order Paper now containing 70 bills from ministers waiting for Parliament’s consideration.
On Thursday the House will sit under extended hours to make progress on a raft of treaty settlement bills.
