First Confidence Vote Of The Year

The Government is likely to face its first confidence vote of this Parliament when the House sits today.
Following Question Time it is expected MPs will turn to the final stages of the debate in reply to the Speech from the Throne.
There is 1 hour and 27 minutes remaining in the debate and at the end a vote will be held which will indicate the Government’s support in Parliament.
Next on the Order Paper are two first reading debates on the Medicines Amendment Bill and the Corrections Amendment Bill.
