Scoop caught the action on Friday night from the launch of Downstage's season for the second half of 2010. The season features the return of two hit shows from the NZ Festival (Mark Twain and Me in Maoriland, Apollo 13) as well as a couple of NZ premieres including Tim Spite's latest production from SEEyD The December Brother which juxtaposes two versions of the Bain murders with the memoirs of family.
