Thank God 2009 Is Over / Happy New Year !
From Allen Roland
Thank God 2009 is over ! I was energized by the early January excitement of a new president and his promise of change and then bowled over by his lack of follow through and broken promises. But I still fervently believe that the people have the power to eventually overturn the world ~ and this could very well be the year when that truth becomes obvious: Allen L Roland
I'm not the only one who can't wait for 2009 to be over. According to the latest AP-GFK poll ~ 75% of Americans think 2009 was a bad year for the country which was rocked by job losses, home foreclosures and a prolonged economic downturn. 42 % rated it "very bad" and I'm one of those.
It's always darkest before the dawn so let's hope 2009 was the bottom of this Depression but without truth and transparency in our government ~ it could well be the mid-point. We must eventually heed the prophetic words of Thomas Jefferson ~
"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."
Happy New Year !
