- Almost every other day, the US presidential race - and the place the Iraq war plays within it - manages to leave the rest of the world looking on amazed at the way the world's only superpower conducts its rites of succession. Not to mention at the Republican acceptance of eternal war in Iraq. Trigger Happy: U.S.-Led Coalition Forces Destroy Pakistani Check Post; 11 Dead - On the night of 10/11 June, a border check post at Gora Prai in Mohmand Agency was destroyed by Coalition Forces in Afghanistan through an aerial attack. Eleven Security Forces Personnel including one officer were killed. A spokesman condemned this completely unprovoked and cowardly act and regretted the loss of precious lives of the soldiers.
