Field To Stand Trial For Corruption
MP Taito Phillip Field is to stand trial in the High Court on 40 charges. At the conclusion of Field's depositions hearing District Court Judge Charles Blackie has referred 15 charges of bribery and corruption and 25 of attempting to pervert the course of justice to the High Court.
Field will next appear at the Auckland High Court on July 30.
