Shameful Tibet Imbroglio

The current imbroglio of Tibet in which more than one hundred lives of sons of the soil have gone is a matter of serious concern for those all who are concerned of human rights, freedom and justice, doesn’t matter if they belong to any part or country of the world. Therefore, it is the time when all of them must come forward in support of peaceful and non-violent struggle of Tibetans to protect their thousands years old culture. Moreover, they for the sake of humanity and without any prejudices must condemn atrocities being committed on innocent Tibetans by the rulers of the People’s Republic of China.
All of us know that series of events in which six decades ago Tibetans were deprived of their fundamental rights. In the name of its own security the Tibet region was occupied by the Communist China. Many of Tibetans had to flee from their Motherland. They had to take refuge in many parts of the world including India. Whole world knows how step-by-step the values of the Tibetan Culture have been destroyed during the last six decades; Buddhists have been treated in different manner. Definitely, this whole series of events is shameful for which in spite of declaring a ‘people’s war’ to crush the protests of Tibetans in Lhasa and other territories of the region the present leadership of the People’s Republic of China must introspect; and without any further delay they must consider the demand of Tibetans for autonomy of the Tibet region .
Furthermore, the rulers in Beijing must understand that under all circumstances, the ruler needs co-operation of the ruled. If not being so, the existence of the ruler cannot remain intact. Doesn’t matter if the rulers are foreigners or [so-called] natives, they cannot maintain their sovereignty on the strength of violence in the absence of co-operation of the natives. As the rulers in Beijing have not come forward to seek co-operation of Tibetans in a proper manner and they have not overcome of their rigidity, they must learn from the following statement issued on the basis of his experiences by Adolph Hitler in which he said in 1943, “Ruling the people [even] in the conquered regions, I might say of course a psychological problem. One cannot rule by force alone.”
Day-by-day world’s situation is changing. Almost all take notice of every event, big or small, doesn’t matter if it occurred in any part of the glob. The current incidents of Tibet have attracted attention of every right thinking man or woman, and the vast majority of the people have sympathy with Tibetans. Therefore, it is in the interest of Beijing itself that it considers the demand of Tibetans calmly and accords a proper and peaceful solution to their problem.
