What does the Government do when it wants to make sure the country is protected from cyber terrorists and cyber criminals? It gets a bunch of computer nerds together and asks them to play war games. This particular operation is called Cyber Storm II, a joint venture with the US, UK, Australia and Canada. Roly Smoldon from MPA Technologies will talk Kim through the process.

The International Whaling Commission held a special meeting in London last week in the hope that pro- and anti-whaling countries could put aside their differences and actually get some work done. The word 'consensus' may be too strong a word for such an organization, but Conservation Minister Steve Chadwick says she's optimistic about the meeting's outcome, and will talk to Kim about it.
