In the footage National leader John Key explains that the Labour Government is in the habit of ringing up and whinging at news organisations over certain stories - especially when they are feeling rattled.
According to Engineering Printing and Manufacturing national secretary Andrew Little Mr Key is 'on the record' as communicating directly with APN [the NZ Herald publishers] chief executive Martin Simons over a a story in an APN regional newspaper that he [Mr Key] believes has misquoted him.
