On day one of the Wellington Sevens, the streets were full of costumed fans. The lack of Borat man-kinis proved no barrier to the atmosphere, with the usual array of costumes supplemented by a notable increase in Spartans.
Strangely, the only people this correspondent saw in school uniforms appeared to be actual school students.
