Clark Welcomes Henry Re-Appointment
Prime Minister Helen Clark today enthusiastically welcomed the re-appointment of Graham Henry as All Blacks coach for another term.
"Graham Henry is a leader with a decent enough record overall, despite widespread and vociferous disagreement with some of his core policies and a recent penchant for heading up unmitigated disasters," said Clark
"It is also fair to say the nation is sick of his face after his long tenure."
"Given all of this, his re-appointment - in the face of all expectations to the contrary - is exactly the sort of thing I would wish to encourage," Ms Clark concluded.
