JACKSON, Tenn. Federal authorities announced today that a white supremacist was sentenced to 30 years in prison for
attempting to acquire nerve gas and explosives in a plot to destroy government buildings.
Demetrius Van Crocker, a farmhand from McKenzie in West Tennessee, was arrested in 2004 after he tried to buy the
weapons from undercover federal agents.
The 40-year-old divorced father of two told agents his dream was to set off a dirty bomb in Washington D-C while the
House and the Senate were in session.
