"Fiji is continuing to be of great concern," was what the Prime Minister told the assembled media late this afternoon as potentially the world's slowest coup creaked into gear in the democratically challenged island nation.
The PM also took a few questions on election spending and seemed to be enjoying investigative journalist Nicky Hager's latest tome ('The Hollow Men' which puts the blowtorch on National's 2005 campaign) rather more than Mr Hager's previous work (The Seeds of Distrust' which dealt with the 1999 -2002 Labour Government)
Listen to the Prime Minister's press conference 04/12/06 (Fiji is dealt with from around the Seven minute and 20 second mark)
