Drinking Age To Remain At 18 – Parlt. Votes 72-49 For Status Quo
NEWS BRIEF: MPs voted down the Sale of Liquor (Youth Alcohol Harm Reduction) Amendment Bill last night 72 votes to 49 on its Second Reading.
The bill will not proceed any further.
The Government is however going to conduct a review into under-age drinking.
