Nuke Test: North Korea Condemned For Testing Nuclear Device
NZ Prime Minister Helen Clark today said New Zealand utterly condemns the reports of a nuclear test by North Korea,
saying it is a provocative and destabilising act for the region. “North Korea should have no illusion of the gravity
with which the international community views its action. The UN Security Council has already moved, prior to news of

Foreign fishing crews look set to see an improvement in their pay packets after the government announced a range of
measures aimed at improving the conditions of foreign crew's working in New Zealand waters. Maori Party Co-leader
Tariana Turia however is angered by the move to improve the lot of foreign fishing crews. Ms Turia pointed out in a
press statement that the 'significant increase of up to $2 extra an hour over and above the minimum wage will hurt the
