Spareroom.co.nz - We’re wondering just how much cash rock video production designers and stylists are paid to come up with original ideas. You see, the latest video from American pop singer Pink borrows heavily from the work of well-known New Zealand artist Martin Emond.

The single “U + Ur Hand”, to be released in Europe at the end of August, features Pink wearing clothing and posing as several of Emond’s characters, including BabyRedKnuckles, RockerBikergirl and HardCandy.
“Seems whoever styled or created the video has obviously come across our favorite son Marty Emond’s artworks and ‘borrowed’, says Steve Hodge from New Zealand clothing label Illicit, who looks after Emond’s estate together with his family.
