Sheikh Khalid bin Mahfouz is not linked to and has never supported terrorism. We accept that Sheikh Khalid bin Mahfouz and his family abhor terrorism in every way. We also apologise to Sheikh Khalid for the distress and embarrassment the publication of this article has caused. We are also happy to report that Sheikh Khalid has successfully brought claims against other publishers in relation to similar unfounded defamatory remarks, donating the substantial damages he received in these actions against to the charity UNICEF. Please visit the bin Mahfouz family website at www.binmahfouz.info for more information on the family.
