Human Rights, Freedom And Democracy Of Maoists

Rabindra Shrestha and Mani Thapa, both central-level leaders of the NCP Maoist, were expelled on the charge that they criticized the two leaders of the Maoists, Prachanda and Baburam. This is an example of human rights, freedom and democracy in the Maoist party.
How will the "absolute freedom" to media be if the Maoists come to power? Can the Kantipur Publications or Himal Media Group enjoy the liberty that they are enjoying at present? Nevertheless, currently, they are seen as totally
against the monarchial rule in the country and pleading for a republic state. They might have thought that the "republic country" led by Prachanda or Baburam will grant more media freedom to them than today's democracy.
Those, known to be pro-republic journalists are threatening those who are in favour of constitutional monarchy and multiparty democracy and also those who believe polls are the only outlet to bring on track the derailed democracy, by saying that the latter will have to face "janakarbahai" (people's action) after the success of the agitation! It sounds really strange that those, who are talking about "absolute democracy", are talking about action against those who have expressed different opinion than them! Is this a democratic or an autocratic thinking, it has become difficult for this scribe to decide.
A group of journalists, better say -- party activists -- are saying that they would stop all government facilities to those journalists who are not supporting the ongoing agitation once the agitators will come to power. The idea is good at least for them. But they, in the name of democracy, are practicing totalitarian trend. Thus it is no surprise, Girija Prasad Koirala has urged the civil servicemen to join the agitation by saying that they would get promotion once he will come to power! Interesting!, Girija will not take care of qualification and capacity of the civil servicemen, rather he will judge their standard by seeing whether they supported the agitation or not.
Look, this is the type of thinking of our "democratic" but totalitarian leaders.
In a democracy opposition can be existed with respect. A big section of journalists who differed the Federation of Nepalese Journalists' political performance, opened Federation of National Journalists (FENAJ) as per the democratic practice. But, those, who are launching agitation for "absolute democracy" vandalized the office premises of FENAJ. Is this a democratic or a totalitarian practice?
STRIKE, BLOCKADE AND GENERAL PEOPLE
Kathmanduites witnessed the longest ever blockade and strike beginning from last Thursday. When the first day's "decisive" but "peaceful" strike launched by the seven parties in collaboration with the Maoists turned violent, the government imposed curfew.
Imagine, how life is in Kathmandu now? If the agitators were little bit concerned about the people, they would never had thought about giving trouble to them to make effective their agitation.
In the name of democracy, they are troubling the people as it was practiced by the Maoists for many times in the past by imposing blockade. Rich people may be the less sufferers but those who have to work everyday for their daily meal, they are the real sufferers.
The Girija Prasads, having delicious dish at their residences are commanding the agitation and issuing one after another statements saying the "decisive" strike will continue until it will get success! No surprise, they are getting funds from the Lainchour Durbar to do so and they are not concerned about the people, the economy and the sovereignty and freedom of the country.
They are doing all this just to fulfill the interests of the Lainchour Durbar, am I true or not?
