The Prime Minister commenced today's Post Cabinet press conference with a brief readout on what came up in Cabinet today and then a fairly lengthy description of issues she expects to arise during her upcoming trips to APEC and CHOGM.
The Prime Minister then answered questions from the press Gallery. Topics covered included:
- The NZRFU's attempt to host the Rugby World Cup in 2011;
- The upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Conference;
- The ongoing United Nations interest regarding the Foreshore and Seabed Legislation;
- Georgina Beyer's stalled transgender legislation;
- The relationship New Zealand has with the United States.
