Scoop R2 Video: Live Screening Of Opening Of Parliament
Scoop will today, thanks to www.r2.co.nz, be streaming the opening ceremonies for the 48th NZ Parliament. These will be live from the grounds of Parliament, Wellington. The streams (see links below) will be available as soon as possible shortly before 2pm today Tuesday Nov 8.

Tuesday 8 November 2005 - The State Opening:
At approximately 2pm the Governor General will open Parliament with a speech from the throne, in the Legislative Chamber. This will include all elected Members of Parliament, The judges from the Supreme Court, the High Court and the Court of Appeal. There will also be a guard of honour from all three armed services.
