The Prime Minister commenced her first Post Cabinet press conference of her third term with a brief readout on what came up in Cabinet today.
She then answered questions from the press Gallery. Topics covered included:
- The resignation of TVNZ CEO Ian Fraser;
- The status of the investigation into Taito Phillip Field;
- Foreign Minister Winston Peters travel plans;
- Greenpeace's concerns over NZ's approach to a moratorium on deep sea fishing over sea mounts;

- The expected house vote for Speaker and deputies;
- The injured SAS soldier;
- The roll-over motion for bills before the previous Parliament;
- The timing of next week's sitting of Parliament.
