Urwin & Clark Confirm Leaders Will Discuss West Papua Issue At Summit

This morning (local time), as the Pacific Island Forum winds up towards the official opening this afternoon, NZ PM Helen
Clark has been holding bilateral meetings with Pacific Island leaders and the PIF Secretary General Greg Urwin.
Following her meeting with Mr Urwin Ms Clark took a brief break from her meetings to answer questions from the media.
Among the issues discussed were:
- The Pacific Plan
- Her attendance at the NGO forum closing celebrations last night
- Whether the issue of West Papua would be discussed at the leaders summit
- Winston Peters and whether NZ needs any Australian help in getting along with the United States
