NZ First Party Leader, and Foreign Affairs Minister in waiting, Winston Peters held a press conference this evening immediately following the Prime Minister's announcement of the new Government. He faced questioning on a range of issues relating to his enhanced confidence and supply agreement with the Labour Progressive government, and notably took some exception to media questions around whether or not he asked for, or was offered, a ministerial position. Asked by Scoop whether he knew the name of the President of Pakistan - a question famously asked of George W. Bush on the campaign trail in 2000 - he responded in a somewhat acerbic manner.
