Foreign Affairs Combs Bali Hospitals After Bomb Blast - At least three bombs exploded in Bali
at 8.00pm local time on 1 October, at Kuta and Jimbaran. Several deaths and injuries have occurred. At this stage there are no reports of New Zealand casualties. New Zealand Embassy staff from Jakarta, now in Bali, are continuing to check hospitals for casualties. New Zealanders concerned about family and friends in Kuta and Jimbaran should try to contact them directly, in the first instance. Communications, however, remain difficult. See...
