Fire Engulfs Building In Auckland's Red Light Area

Auckland - Fire in Fort St Building
A fire engulfed an abandoned building in the heart of Auckland’s red-light district on Fort Street last night. Police say the Fire Service attended the fire at 8:15pm. The building had been abandoned for some time.
The Fire Service is satisfied that the building had no one in it.
Police placed a guard around the building overnight and plan to meet fire safety officers at the scene Tuesday morning.
