Independence And Sovereignty Of Nepal
By Kamala Sarup
It is a time to make contribution and sacrifices for our great nation Nepal. We must and should think, if nation survives we are there if it is not there where we are going to do our politics and find ourselves? Maoists are also the people of this country. They also know about the country's situations. They all should come to Nepal and build the nation.
The government political parties should also create an atmosphere of confidence. The country needs stability, peace, security and advancement along new direction of balance, rationality and equitability. This has to be with wider participating democratic rights of the people within the frame of constitutional monarchy and multiparty democracy. Benefits of democracy must go to the people. Nepal is a peaceful and beautiful country. We Nepalese should be able to live as Nepalese. For this, we must have commitment and dedication towards this country. Lets save our independence and sovereignty.
Those who are in politics must not forget democratic nationalism. Politics should not remain or be kept above national interests. Our objectives must be to safeguard Nepal's sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence. The existence and sovereignty of the nation should be our main concern. For this very reason, peaceful coexistence is the most fitting solution and of course for solving national issues too.
We must remember, our friendly countries sincerely hopes all political forces government Maoists and people of insight in Nepal could work together to resolve the present problems and realize the peace, stability and development in Nepal at the earliest. We must all, therefore, make sincere effort to work together to make democracy meaningful by shunning the habit of blaming and doubting each other.
We must be serious towards the peace in the intests of nationalism, democracy and resolution of basic problems faced by the people. For this, cooperation and commitment from all sectors including the political parties, government and Maoists are highly necessary.
We are at this critical hour, we must be together. and should protect our Independence. Great Nepal belongs to all of us and all of us should contribute for its Independence. We should shun the feeling of 'mine' and 'yours'. We should work together realizing all of us are Nepalese.
Violence has no future in Nepal. Peace is our birth right, and there can be debate on any other issue except peace.
The democratic, nationalist and Maoists forces should come together for the protection and preservation of the country.
Working together we can raise the living standard of the people by abolishing racial discrimination and geographical disparities and uniting all the forces of the country.
The government political parties and also the Maoists should work to make this country better. Political stability and economic recovery in Nepal lies in the adherence to the twin pillars of constitutional monarchy and multiparty democracy.
We can make our beloved Nepal wonderful. Successful talks re energy pipeline, more equitable wealth-sharing negotiations, can save our beautiful country. Like we must build a consensus on this, consult with both allies and opponents, forge a peace that will last.
