Scoop Images: Radio NZ Minor Parties Leaders' Debate
A small, mostly polite crowd was able to observe the democratic process first hand over the weekend in Wellington. Six leaders from the minor parties (represented in Parliament) were invited by Radio New Zealand to take part in a debate moderated by Nine till Noon's Linda Clark and Morning Report's Sean Plunket. Tragically for any New Zealand First supporters in the audience NZ Firsts' leader Winston Peters decided not to come along.
