Scoop Report: Woman's Body Sparks Homicide Inquiry
Hillsborough, Auckland - Auckland Police are investigating a homicide after a woman's body was found in bushes on Waikowhai Road, Hillsborough, at about 8:20am this morning.
Police spokeswoman Noreen Hegarty said the body was found by a couple walking their dog.
The body has remained at the scene for most of today while forensic examinations have taken place.
Police have yet to determine further details of the victim, her age, injuries, or how she died.
Police intend to brief media today at 2.30pm.
